Burnett County Lakes & Rivers Association Tells of Upcoming Events


From boater safety to environmental issues, the Burnett County lakes & Rivers Association is promoting a variety of upcoming events for June and July. We invite you to find something that interests you and get involved.

Boater Safety Classes

June 12-13 @ Webb Lake 10am to 2 pm David Lein 715-259-4134

Target class is 10 to 13 year olds. Note refresher great for us older types too!!!!

Burnett County now has Eurasian Milfoil in one of our lakes!

Learn how to keep it out of your lake. Clean Boats, Clean Waters program on June 19 at the Burnett Co Govt Ctr, 9am till noon Contact John Haack at\ 715-635- 3735 to make reservations

2004 Northwest Wisconsin Lakes Conference

Telemark Lodge, Cable, WI June 25th 8am to 4:30pm.

New Wisconsin Laws on Lakes
Wisconsin's Governor is our featured speaker.

Problems get back to me. Please promote this with your local lake. Cost is $40 but that includes 2 snacks and a full lunch.
