Thanks to Volunteers Who Give Their Time To Protect Johnson LakeThanks to the many volunteers who give an hour or
two of their time by monitoring boats entering Johnson Lake at the public
landing. Volunteers ask the boat owners whether they've visited other lakes
recently, inspect the boat and trailer for weeds and teach the boater about the
importance of being vigilant about invasive species.
Traffic at the landing has been fairly slow on some
weekend mornings. This may be due to the impact on fishing from low water and
tall
weeds.
