Help Needed To Assure Solar Power For Landing Camera

If you're around this weekend, we could use your help with an important project. Read more to see the note from Bob Polkinghorn.

I am looking for volunteers to help me move the sign at the boat landing so that the solar panel on the Axis Camera will charge the battery.  I've had to exchange the battery every few days to keep it working properly.  This has not happened at other sites where exposure to the sun is not blocked by signs or trees.

I will provide a post hole digger, chain saw and level, so we can reinstall the sign properly.  There is poison ivy by the sign, so wear proper attire.  I think we can complete this in about an hour.

We are all concerned with the effects of milfoil on Johnson Lake and it is imperative that the camera is working a 100% of the time.  Currently it is not!

I look forward to you help.

Thanks,
