22nd Annual Memorial Day Weekend ATV Rally

Iron County boasts the most extensive ATV trail system in the state of Wisconsin. Every Memorial Day Weekend in May, thousands of ATV Riders come to Hurley for the Annual Memorial Weekend ATV Rally. In 2005, the Memorial Rally ATV Parade set the Guinness World Record with 687 ATVs officially participating in the parade. Now the bar has been raised and organizers are shooting to break the new record of 1,138 and we have every intention of doing just that! Come help us make ATV history AGAIN and participate in the 22nd Annual Memorial Rally Parade on Friday, May 25th. Pre-registration for the event is encouraged. For an $8.00 fee, those who pre-register for the event by May 4, 2007 will receive a Memorial Rally Poker Run Sheet, as well as an Official Limited Edition Memorial Rally Bandana and a free Iron County ATV map. Pre-registrants will also receive entry into a raffle drawing for free lodging in Iron County and lots of other great prizes! After the May 4th pre-registration deadline, the fee goes up to $10. The Rally kicks off on Friday morning, the 25, with registration for the weekend long Poker Run. Registration will take place at both ends of Iron County. Northern registration will be from 9:00am to 9:00pm at the Hurley Chamber Office in downtown Hurley. Registration on the Southern end will run from 9:00am to 9:00pm at the Mercer Chamber Office in downtown Mercer. The ATV parade will take place in downtown Hurley at 6:00pm on Friday evening - due to the World Record Attempt, line-up location and time information will be provided on this site as the event draws nearer. On Saturday, the Poker Run and registration will continue from 9:00am to noon, along with many other exciting events and activities throughout the county. Different businesses will be sponsoring a variety of activities, including breakfast, lunch & dinner specials and buffets, cookouts, live entertainment and more. Along with the events, the county features over 200 miles of routes and trails available with scenic areas including waterfalls, breathtaking views of Lake Superior, the Penokee Mountains and more. On Sunday, the Poker Run concludes with the drawing of the Poker Hand. Upon completion of the Poker Run Sheet, the Poker Hand may be drawn at any time throughout the weekend, but must be drawn by 8:00pm on Sunday evening.
