Western Grebe, Bald Eagle Caught on Camera


Bob Polkinghorn took some nice shots of two spectacular residents of Johnson Lake. Read more to see his photos.

Bob says he took these photos on a hot June 11th. Bob says, "Carol and I were on a pontoon ride and spotted the Western Grebe by the boat landing. The Bald Eagle was cooling itself too. The loons have nested. One on the island and one in the north bay. Hopefully they will both produce little ones."

Please give the loons the room they need to raise their families.
