Winter Snow Arrives Late - Some Trails Open

Snowmobilers and the local people who cater to them have been waiting for snow for a long time. It's finally getting better, as the latest trail report indicates.

As of January 19th, the report said: "The trails are open north of trail 120 and the whole Gandy Dancer Trail in Burnett County. The trails to the south are still in rough shape. The open trails vary between poor in the south and good in the north. Looks like snow this week so conditions should improve. Some sections have been packed but many area have not been yet. Have fun!"

Since then, a few more inches of snow have fallen. If you're on the trails, take some digital photos and send them in. We'd love to post photos of people having fun! You can always find the latest snowmobile report by clicking the link on the side of the Johnson Lake Association home page.
