About the Photo of the Month - February 2006Nature gives us beauty in many shapes and forms.
Consider a once-towering oak tree, battered by harsh winters, hot summer sun and
storm winds for several decades. The tree lost its top, but continues to
survive, thanks to two lower limbs, reaching to the heavens like outstretched
arms.
Richard, "Weg" Wegworth sent in the picture, saying,
"This photo was shot on the bay side of the Johnson Lake, the date is October
30, 2005, which is just opposite the "new" spring of 2006, which I'm looking
forward to." We'd like to thank Weg for the photo and encourage you to submit
your pictures. Click here to email them . Here's to an early
Spring!
