Scarce Snow Disappoints Snowmobilers, Hospitality Industry


The last update on the snowmobile trail hotlink on this website says it all.

Trails will open when snow conditions improve and snow depth exceeds 4”. Currently we need more snow, please check back with us for future updates.

The disappointing snowfall may be part of global warming, el nino, or just the cyclical changes in winter snow patterns. Whatever the reason, it's a waiting game for people with sleds and cross country skis.
