About the Photo of the Month - February 2005


The photo of the month is a study in wintry contrasts. The reflection of a fiery sunrise over Johnson Lake in a frosty window.

Capturing nature's brief battle is one of the benefits of waking up early at the lake. Being able to crawl back into a warm bed after taking a few photographs is also a reward. As the sun rose, its warmth melted away the glistening tracks on the window.
