About the Photo of the Month - November, 2006


The sunset is more than a spectacular way to end a day on Johnson Lake. As we anticipate the cold darkness of winter, the sunset symbolizes some spectacular achievements in 2007.

The brilliant reflections represent the great work done during 2006 by members of the Association who care deeply about our special place on earth. Some contributed time and effort. Many others made significant financial investments in Association efforts to protect and preserve the lake we enjoy so much. We are fortunate to have so many people with so many skills, brought together by a common appreciation for the lake and the woods.

As we say goodbye to fall, many look forward to winter. Maybe this year snow will be abundant. Snowmobilers and skiers will be happy. And the lake will get a much-needed rest beneath a blanket of white. We can only hope!
