Snowmobile Trails Closed For Now, Condition Report Web Link Updated


It'll take a significant snowfall before local snowmobile trails open again. You can learn about current conditions through our updated "quick web link." One server where local snowmobile trail information had been located is apparently down, so we've linked to another information source that we hope will prove more reliable and more valuable. As a bonus, this link also provides information about cross country ski trails.

This site includes links to trail conditions locally and across North America as well as an on-line discussion group about snowmobiling in Burnett County. In addition, you can learn about the trail pass required for each snowmobile not registered in Wisconsin. Trail passes cost $18 dollars each.

If you're away from your computer, you can also call toll-free to learn about conditions. The number is 1-800-788-3164.
